2017 UCD Board Supervisor Position Notices–Updated

Underwood Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are public officials who direct the activities of the conservation district. Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. Appointed Position

A board seat on Underwood Conservation District is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district. An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State, and may be required to own land or operate a farm. Applicants for appointed positions do not have to live within the district to apply.  For more information or to obtain an application form, please contact Underwood Conservation District at 509.493.1936, or visit the Conservation Commission website at http://www.scc.wa.gov/. Applications and supporting materials must be received by the Commission no later than March 31, 2017.

 

Mid-Term Appointed Position Open

An unexpired appointed supervisor position on the Underwood Conservation District board is available for appointment by the WA State Conservation Commission.  The term of the appointment ends May 2018.  An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State but does not have to live within the district to apply.  At the discretion of the Commission, the applicant may be required to be a landowner or farm operator.  Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district.  For more information or to obtain an application form, please contact UCD at 509.493.1936, or visit the Conservation Commission website at www.scc.wa.gov.  Applications and supporting materials must be received by the Commission no later than April 17, 2017.
