Conifers are cone producing trees and shrubs abundant in the Pacific Northwest. Common coniferous trees include Douglas fir, cedars, firs, pines, hemlock, and spruce. Conifer wood is referred to as a “softwood” and typically used economically for lumber and paper production.
Conifers are commonly referred to as “evergreens” because they provide a deep green color throughout the year. However, some conifers (Western Larch, for example) that are actually deciduous!
All plants are are sold in bundles of 10 trees of the same species. Seedlings are 1-3 years old.
