Grand Fir (Abies grandis)

An adaptable evergreen, grand fir can be found at a variety of sites around our area. The tree features glossy, dark green needles. It features prominently in deep forests around the Gifford Pinchot area, from moist riparian to dry upland locations. Also, a popular Christmas tree. Grand fir provides food and shelter for many birds and small mammals.
