Golden Currant (Ribes aureum)

Golden currant is a dense shrub that produces abundant clusters of bright yellow flowers with pleasant clove-like fragrance and edible red berries that make excellent jams. Somewhat shade and drought tolerant and adaptable to a wide variety of soil types. Good for attracting wildlife. Can grow up to 12 feet tall and approximately 10 feet wide at maturity.
